Diane is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. She also is certified in the use of EMDR, an effective treatment in helping clients overcome and heal past trauma. She worked for over five years at Capital Counseling Center and taught counseling courses at Capital Bible College.
Diane works with a variety of clients from pre-school age through senior citizens. Her specialty is working with teens. Along with her private practice she spent two years volunteering at Mather Youth Academy, which enrolls only expelled students or students with special disiplinary contracts from Middle School and High School campuses in the Sacramento area. Mather Youth Academy has been designated The Most Persistently Dangerous School in California. She has also co-lead a seminar on parenting teens, spoken at a Vista del Lago High School PTSA meeting and was a presenter at a Women's Retreat.
Diane believes that with God all things are possible. Healing can happen, change can come and we can all aspire to joy.
